RESPONSIBILITIES

Java/Business Rules Engine/ ODM

Location: Remote 

Required Skills
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Rules Engine Sr. Developer using IBM ODM (Operational Decision Management)
Experience should include but not limited to Rules Studio/Rules Designer, BAL, BOM, XOM
Minimum of 4 years in Java/J2EE technologies, Web Services and Eclipse
Overall 5+ years of experience in IT industry utilizing SDLC methodologies.
Demonstrated experience with application architecture in the Java and related frameworks.

Preferred Skills
Candidate should be able to provide examples of why they can be described as having the following traits:
Quick study
Experience in Rules modernization/upgrade project
Experience working in Decision Engine version of IBM ODM
Experience in monitoring Rule Execution Server performance

Hi-Level Responsibilities
Responsible as a technical SME for IBM ODM
Define and standardize best practices in Rules Engine development cycle.
Develop and standardize XOM & BOM for the whole application!
Design rule flows and decision tables using ODM Rule Designer
Design or utilize Rule Package supplied rule invocation API
Build, deploy and maintain Rules Engine applications

Other
Experience in the Health and Human Services/ Title IV-A Eligibility business
Candidates with Prior Deloitte Experience will be highly regarded

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
