RESPONSIBILITIES

• Position : Senior Software Engineer
  Position Description:
  The Order Scheduling and Sequencing Product is an important and complex product used to determine when vehicle orders should be built and determine the order in which these vehicles should be built. Software Engineers will help solve new problems driven by exciting business initiatives that impact the entire supply chain. As a key member of our Information Technology group, you’ll play a critical part in shaping the future of Order Fulfillment.   Skills Required:

  • Strong business acumen/knowledge of Scheduling and Sequencing processes for Assembly Plants • Experience with PCF and associated CI tools (GitHub, Gradle, Jenkins, Nexus) is preferred. • Agile team experience preferred • Experience with object-oriented analysis and design • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong oral and written communication skills • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills. • Strong desire to learn new business processes and function as part of an Agile team • Willingness to play more than one role within a software development team. • Proven ability to build and maintain strong positive relationships with business and application partners and team members.

  Skills Preferred:
  • Experience with emergent design, test-driven development, and associated tools is a plus. • Experience in production support. • Rally and Blueprint Experience is a plus. • Highly motivated professional (self-starter and results oriented).
  Experience Required:
  • 4+ years of experience Java-based development, with HTML/JavaScript/XML • 4+ years of experience with Java-based IDE (Eclipse, RSA, IntelliJ), using frameworks (Angular, JPA, RESTful WS, Struts, Junit or Eclipse Link) • 4+ years of experience with a relational database, e.g. SQL Server and DB2
  Experience Preferred:
  • 2+ years of experience with Optessa Software Integration
  Education Required: Computer Sciences degree or related.
